Howard James Taylor Jr.

Howard James Taylor, Jr., 74, of Varina, passed away on September 15, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard James Taylor, Sr. and Ollie Taylor; and his son, Howard James Taylor III. He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Brenda Davis Taylor; son, G. David Taylor; grandchildren, Zachary, Zoe, Luke and Patti Lynn Taylor; as well as two nieces and one great-niece. Howard was a member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church, Varina Masonic Lodge 272, ACCA Temple Shrines Clown Unit, Union Local #10 Plumbers and Steamfitters, and an avid NASCAR fan. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 18, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond VA 23231, where services will be held on Saturday, September 19, at 1pm. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
