Helen Jordan Bryant

Helen Jordan Bryant, 89, of Richmond passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017. Her smiling blue eyes, loving spirit, quiet support and guidance will be missed by all who knew her. She was retired from Reynolds International and was a long time member of St. John’s Catholic Church. She was past president of St. John’s Council of Women and past president of Powhatan Junior Woman’s Club. She was preceded in death by her beloved son-in-law, Patrick J. Woods, and is survived by her husband of 70 years, William E. “Bill” Bryant, Jr.; children, Beverley L. Bryant, Deborah Tate (Ken), William E. “Bill” Bryant III and Colette Woods; grandchildren, Linette, Jaime, Jason, Phillip, Gillian, Aaron and Allison; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, January 30, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A Mass will be held Tuesday, January 31, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, 811 W. Nine Mile Road, Henrico, VA 23075. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
