Collins, Fay Bricker, 92, passed peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Fay was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Collins Sr. and their three children, Sharon C. Sprouse, Joanne C. Wright, and James E. Collins Jr. She is survived by her grandchildren, Crystal Colter (Shane), Becky Hurst (Pearson), Chris Collins (Jessica), Jennifer Collins (Todd), Carrie O’Neal (Chris), and Wayne Sprouse; great-grandchildren, Tabitha Colter (Hayes), Elena Colter, Percy Hurst, Sam Hurst, Zander Collins, Victoria Collins, Connor Redford, Jaiden Dabney, Avery O’Neal, Christina O’Neal, and Mackenzie O’Neal; and great-great-granddaughter, Bayley O’Neal; son-in-law, Don Sprouse and a host of nieces and nephews, including her niece, Christine Matthews, who provided companionship and comfort these last several months. Services will be held at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel with a visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 14 and a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
