Doris Marie Glenn, 79, of New Kent, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013. She was the widow of Warren E. Glenn. Ms. Glenn was a cosmetologist and owner/operator of Highland Springs Beauty & Barber Shop. She loved gambling, but not as much as she loved shopping. She is survived by her sons, Billy Glenn and Richard Richmond (Susan); daughter, Stephanie Davenport; grandchildren, Janice Burch, James Glenn, Deborah Glenn, Tessa Glenn, and six other grandchildren; 19 great-grandchilren; brother, Danny Rosebrough; sister, Diana Brickell; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23231. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, Virginia.
