Christine "Tina" J. Paxton

Christine “Tina” J. Paxton, 74, of Lanexa, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was born Monday, March 8, 1948. Tina was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Seay Johns; father, James “Buck” Johns; and her brother, Edwin “Ed” Johns. She enjoyed reading her extensive book collection and spending time with her family - especially on Christmas. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 43 years, Danny; their three children, Tammy, Kathy and Chad (Jessica); five grandchildren, Shawn Tyler, Savanna, Dylan, Lauryn and Natalie; three great-grandchildren, Ty, Aubree and Paxton Kyle; brothers, Robert “Bobby” Johns (Mary Jane) and Stewart Johns (Pam); and many extended family members and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A private burial will be held at a later date.
