Betty Talley Mason, 82, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 she was born to the late Linwood and Francis Talley on July 27, 1931. Betty was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Mine Run, VA. She was an avid doll collector and enjoyed going to meetings on dolls. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years James W Mason. She is survived by her son Michael J Mason, a grand daughter Megan Mason, one brother Wayne Talley and wife Violet, two sisters; Marian Aldridge and husband Ray and Elsie Talley,
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 21, 2013 starting at 10:00am at the Preddy Funeral Home 250 W. Main St. Orange, Va. 22960 with the funeral service following at 11:00 am, the interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Services by Preddy Funeral Home and Woody Funeral Home.
