Barbara Emerson Agee

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Bobby Agee; youngest son, Michael Agee; daughter-in-law, Ann Agee; parents, Verner and Mildred Emerson; sister, Evelyn Ferrell (Raymond); brothers, Kerry and Billy Emerson; and sister-in-law, Vernelle Emerson.

She is survived by her sons, Steve, Gary (Nancy), Mark (Donna); siblings, Jerry Emerson, and Fay King (Tommy); grandchildren, Rachel Agee, Melissa Stockdale (Lewis), Matthew Culbertson, Douglas, Andrew (Megan), Alex (Hollie), Amanda Agee; and great granddaughter on the way, Ella Marie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Family meant everything to her, and she meant the world to us. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, February 8 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond VA 23231, where the service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 10:00 am, interment to follow.
