Annie "Nan" Leslie Durham

Annie "Nan" Leslie Durham, 90, of Charles City, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Nan was born on January 24, 1932 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Russell Durham. Nan retired as a bookkeeper from Sears. She was a member of Circle 8 Square Dance Club and enjoyed gardening, bird watching, beach combing and puzzles. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brian Durham (Loree) of Gig Harbor, Washington, Stuart Durham (Belinda) of Charles City, Virginia and Cheryl Durham of Seabrook, Texas; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Minnie McCrae of Toronto, Canada. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A viewing will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 800-227-2345 or a charity of your choice.
