Ann Page Lowry, 86, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024. She was born March 18, 1938, in Richmond and was preceded in death by her parents, Greathern Viola Thomas Lowry and Wilson Page Lowry.
Ann was an avid and gifted gardener, artist, and craftsperson who delighted in sharing her passions with her friends and family. She was a lifelong athlete, playing tennis and golf and many frames of bowling. Among Ann’s many interests, she also served for a time as Vice President of the Village Garden Club and was a dedicated member of Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church. She is best remembered, however, as a devoted friend and a loving mother and grandmother.
Ann is survived by her three children and their spouses: Thomas Page Alley and wife Diane Coleman Alley; Donald Hugh Alley and wife Greer Jones Alley; daughter Kimberly Ann Alley and husband David Barritt Trownsell. She is also survived by and took great pride in her grandchildren and great-grandson: grandson Brent Thomas Alley and wife Hannah Kathryn Alley; grandson Wallace Tucker Alley; grandson Michael Thomas Trownsell; and great-grandson Tanner Reid Alley.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Westhampton Memorial and Cremation Park on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 6000 Grove Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23226.
