Having lived a life according to God’s will, Windell Hildebrandt passed away gently on Thursday February 4, 2016. He was born December 17, 1926. Windell served as a mechanic and on the rescue team as Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corp in World War II. Windell resided in Richardson, Texas with his wife Loretta Hildebrandt. He was preceded in death by his first wife Frances Hildebrandt; father, Leon Benard Hildebrandt; mother, Fannie Lee Hildebrandt; brother Louis Brannon. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Loretta Hildebrandt; son Rev. Michael Hildebrandt & wife Barbara, Mesquite, Texas; grandson Michael Wayne Hildebrandt & wife Tina, Rowlett, Texas; great grandson Michael Constantine; great step grandson Dillyn Duncan; great step granddaughter Sydne Burkett. Windell was also bless to have an extended family - three stepdaughters Margaret Renee Alaniz, Plano, Texas; Marilyn Kay Ellis & husband Russell, Forney, Texas; Carolyn Fay Burns & William, Terrell, Texas; five step grandsons Rory Ellis, Eric Ellis, Shaun Ellis, Wesley Burns and Dustin Burns. Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Sparkman Richardson Funeral Home, and Celebration Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 8, 2016 at First Baptist Church Richardson, Texas, 1001 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080.
