Riley Edward Rawlins

Riley Edward Rawlins was born February 15, 1994 in Irving, Texas. Riley passed away January 7, 2012 in Dallas, TX. Riley had a deep love of his family, friends and the great outdoors. He and his Mother spent time camping around Texas, California and Washington, seeing some of the most beautiful places those regions have to offer. When Riley wasn’t enjoying the outdoors, he was spending time with his friends, family and cats - with Sammy being special to his heart. Riley was a junior at Lake Highlands High School and would have graduated with the class of 2013. After graduation Riley planned to join the US Marine Corps, something he spoke of often. Riley’s zest for life and friendly smile will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Riley was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Rawlins and Grandfathers Steven Frank and Michael Rawlins. He is survived by his mother, Monica Rawlins and stepfather Chris Buntenbah; sisters, Gillian Rawlins and Lauren Buntenbah; Grandmother, Connie Richardson; and Grandparents Patricia Rawlins Short and Grant Short. A celebration of Riley’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Sparkman Funeral Home in Richardson.
