Perico “Perry” Rivera Uncad, of Richardson, TX went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 30th, 2020 with his wife and children by his side. He was diagnosed with a rare type of prostate cancer earlier this year. He was 60 years old.
Perry was born in Bacolor, Pampanga, Philippines on July 29th, 1960. He was one of twelve children. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering at Guagua National Colleges in Pampanga. He moved to Doha, Qatar to work for Qatar Airways for 16 years. In Doha, he met his wife Susie. They married on February 7th, 1994 and had two beautiful children, Kathleen and Jeffrey. Perry moved to the United States in 2006. He was a family man and the biggest fan of NBA basketball. If he wasn’t playing basketball at the gym, he was at home spending time with his family or playing mahjong with his friends. Perry was known for being a great Filipino cook; all of his friends loved his chicken and pork adobo! He was also a devoted Christian and always put God first. He had such a kind and supportive heart. He was a good husband, caring father, loving brother and a great friend. His strong personality, infectious smile and contagious laughter will continue to live on in all of our hearts. He was cherished by so many family and friends, and will forever be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Susie Uncad; daughter, Kathleen Joy Uncad; son, Jeffrey Roy Uncad; his 4 brothers, Joel, Melchor, Jaime, Francis; and his 5 sisters, Zita, Victoria, Regina, Maria Luz, Rocel; many nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Psalm 27: 4-5 “One thing I ask of the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.”
