Pat preferred to not use her full name unless it was required by an authority. As a result, she will be very happy with our not using her full set of names today. Pat was born in East Grand Forks Minnesota in Polk County and was the middle child. Her father served in the military and Pat was able to live in numerous locations throughout her life. Her family, moved from Grand Forks to Seattle Washington, Africa (Ethiopia), Fort Campbell Kentucky, Kaiserslautern Germany, El Paso Texas, and Bryan Texas. She continued her travels to Springtown, Texas and eventually, Round Rock Texas.

Pat continued at Sierra Medical Center and eventually became the Head of Nurse Training. Pat loved nursing and helping her patients and students. She was a nurse for thirty-five years.
One of her other passions was working with the Red Cross and active-duty military. When the troops would deploy, she would make sure that they and their families had all their information in order. She was also instrumental in fund raisers and functions for family morale.
