Mario Reding, 74, of Dallas, passed away on November 5th, 2024. Born in Mexico City on April 27, Mario was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who lived a life filled with wisdom, kindness, and love.
A graduate of Tec de Monterrey in Information Technology Engineering, Mario brought his passion for learning into every part of his life, always eager to share his knowledge and wisdom with those around him.
On September 14, 1985, he married Guadalupe Garcia, with whom he shared nearly four decades of unwavering love and devotion, never missing a single anniversary. Together, they built a beautiful family that he guided with boundless love and steady presence. Mario spent much of his career with Dallas ISD, where he touched many lives. He was also a proud Mason and Scout Leader, committed to fostering community and helping others. A lifelong fan of the Cowboys and a lover of music, he enjoyed sharing these passions with his family, often through spirited discussions and joyful gatherings.
His legacy lives on in his beloved family: his wife, Guadalupe; his children, Mario, Vivian, and Stephanie; and his cherished grandchildren, Natalie and Santiago, who remember him as a playful, devoted, and wise figure always ready with a kind word or gentle laugh. He is also survived by his brothers, Salvador, Gregorio, and Felipe, who shared with him a deep, enduring bond.
Mario’s life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and joy. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were lucky to know him.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 16:00 hours, November 16 at Sparkman Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
