Eric was raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Richardson High School in 1987 and then graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BA in Human Communication in 1991. Following his graduation at ACU, he worked with his father in real estate.
Eric was preceded in death by his father Rick. He is survived by his mother Jeanne of Frisco, brother Scott Ramsey (and wife, Lyndia) of North Richland Hills, sister Amy Janik (and husband Henry) of Plano and sister Ashley Rudolph (and husband Torrin) of Auckland, New Zealand, plus aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many more family and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Friday, January 28, 2022 at Sparkman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1029 South Greenville Ave., Richardson, TX 75081,. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022 in the Sparkman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery.
