Alice Faye Massey (Staten) was born in Charleston, Mississippi on August 23, 1936 to Maybell (Corker) and Hugh Barney Staten. She passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022.
Alice graduated from High School in Charleston, Mississippi 1954. She married Paul Leo on June 28, 1960 and celebrated 52 years of marriage together. She retired from Resistol Hat Factory after many years of employment.
Alice was always happy and she loved being with family. She was very involved with her church and church family. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews that loved her very much and she will be dearly missed by all.
Alice is predeceased by her husband Paul Leo Massey; parents Maybell and Hugh Barney Staten; brothers Marders Staten, Roy Staten, Charles Staten, Cleatus Staten, Hubert Staten, and Cecil Staten; and numerous step-sisters and brothers.
