Steven Douglas Fischer

Steven Douglas Fischer was born in Jamestown, North Dakota to Doug and Fran Fischer at 8:30 pm on October 6, 1958. Steve was the first child born to Doug & Fran. Steve lived in Fargo, North Dakota for his first two years while Doug finished his college and then moved with his folks to the Seattle Washington area where he grew up and continued to live until his death. Steve has two daughters, Jennifer and Kathryn who now live in Kent, Washington near his home in Renton. Steve graduated from high school in Renton and took a number of trade classes at Green River Community College and Renton Technical Institute.

Steve was an avid outdoorsman. He was a First Class Scout in the Boy Scouts and continued hiking, camping, fishing and hunting his whole life. He loved animals, especially dogs and cats. He was an excellent auto mechanic and was good with his hands and machinery, so his occupation became construction as a worker, business manager and owner.

Steve was preceded in death by his baby sister, Patty Jo and his mom. Steve is survived by his daughters, Jennifer and Kathy (Bryan) Bart, his sister Suzy (John) Hennig, His brother Rick (Jeannette), three nephews and his father.
