Our Beloved Mother, Maxine Elizabeth Motor, went to be with the Lord on Christmas Day 2021. Maxine was born in Seattle to Maxmillion and Elizabeth Dubigk on May 26, 1927. She grew up in Maple Valley, WA, graduated from Tahoma High School and Washington State College, (now WSU) with a Secretarial Degree. Maxine worked for a time as a “Rosie” during WWII. She married Albert J. Motor in 1948. Maxine and Al had four children; Max, Kristi, Melinda, and Melisa. Maxine lived in Renton for many years and retired from her position as City Clerk for Renton in 1990. Maxine moved to Ballard in 1980. At the time of her passing, Maxine was residing in Lynnwood. Maxine was preceded in death by her former husband Al, sister Mary Boose, brother Bud Dubigk, son Max, and nephew Wiley. She is survived by her daughters, Kristi Motor, Melinda Motor (Ron Shattuck), Melisa Nordin (Eric) and many dear nieces, cousins and friends. An outdoor memorial service will be held on May 26, 2022 at 12:00 p.m., at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.
