John J. SWARTZWELDER Sr. Died Sunday April 1st at Valley General Hospital in Renton. Born January 24,1930 in Altoona, PA. He resided in the Renton area since 1948. He worked for Boeing from 1950 to 1990 as a model maker which was also his hobby from the late 1930s to 2012. He married Gloria M Matthews twice from 1948 to 1965 and 1986 to 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles B Swartzwelder and Mary J Kling; his step-father Harry Baldwin; his brother Charles and sisters Mary M, Clara E and Dolores Badorrek. He is survived by his wife Gloria; sons John of Los Angeles, Steve of Los Angeles, daughter Patti Jenson of Renton; granddaughter Grace Jenson of Kirkland; sister Mary Lyle and brother-in-law Buddy Lyle of Altoona, sister-in-law Louise Swartzwelder of Texas and the following nieces and nephews: Joey Lyle, Tony Lyle, Charlene Schlager, Heinz Badorrek, Cheryl Badorrek, Steve Bakke, Melania Kitzinger, Cathy Gorney, Terri Bennett, Penny Barringer and Susan Blatz. The Funeral Service will take place at 1:30 pm Saturday April 7 at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.
