Terence "Terry" Bosch, age 65, passed away on July 19, 2024, after a courageous 6-month battle with cancer. Born on June 4, 1959, in the small town of Wilkie, Saskatchewan, Terry grew up on a small farm that built his great character.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Reininger) Bosch and siblings, Lori Brown and Denise Mckee. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his wife of many years, Deborah Bosch, and their children: Robin Bosch, Lindsey Lavigne (Ben), James Young (Tiffany), Amanda Young (Chad), and Nicole Haas (Steven). Terry's joy was multiplied by his 13 grandchildren, who will carry fond memories of their Papa's kindness, gentle spirit and humour. He is also survived by his siblings, Linda Graves and Melvin Bosch, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and lots of friends who became an extended part of the family.
Terry's professional life was marked by his dedication in a career of heavy-haul trucking. Previous to his retirement, Terry drove for Turners Transport Ltd. His commitment to his work was evident in the pride he took in sharing photographs of his loads with his family and grandchildren. Terry spent his time away from work enjoying outdoor activities like fishing, camping, and travelling.
To say that he was a sports fan would be an understatement. His enthusiasm for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays, and Saskatchewan Roughriders knew no bounds. He revelled in the playful banter and friendly rivalries with family members who supported other teams, turning every game into a memorable event filled with laughter. He will always be known for his big smile, laugh and love for his family.
The void left by his passing will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The family would like to thank friends: Vonda, Craig and Pat, who provided comfort, support and care in the recent months, William Booth Palliative care, and to all family and friends who have reached out at this difficult time. At Terry's request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Regina Humane Society, 4900 Parliament Avenue, Regina, Sk, S4W 0T7.
