Ross Fleming Dahl of Regina, SK, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on January 22, 2020 at the age of 80. Ross was a very kind and compassionate man. He was born in Regina, SK on September 13, 1939. He lived on a farm near Kipling, SK, and attended Hazel Valley School. He moved to Regina, and then moved to Winnipeg, MB where he lived and worked for a few years, before moving back home to Regina where he worked for the City of Regina until his retirement. Ross loved to listen to country music and Elvis Presley. His favourite country singers were Connie Smith and George Jones. Ross was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending the Regina Pats hockey games, as well as listening to the Pats away games on the radio. Ross also cheered on the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He had a very good memory and could state the statistics of many football and hockey players. Ross gave back to the community by volunteering at the North Central Family Centre. He enjoyed playing bingo at the centre, and talking to Sandy, he always said what a good person she is. Ross also wanted everyone to know his God. He delivered gospel tracts to every house in Regina several times throughout his life as well as in Moose Jaw, Saskatoon and Edmonton. He enjoyed visiting with his friends at Robins Donuts, Tim Hortons, and the Northgate Mall. Ross especially enjoyed celebrating birthdays and other special occasions with his extended families; the Browatzke family, especially Jim, Doreen, Lana and Oliver and their families; the Dan and Dorothy Driscoll family, Donna and Pete, Ron and Carolyn, Pat and Gerry, Dennis, Marlene and John, and their families. Ross will be fondly remembered and we will miss him at our dinner table where we would reminisce about the years gone by together as a family. In respect to Ross’s wishes, there will be a private family funeral service.
Rest in Peace Ross.
