Ronald Michon

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father and grandfather Ron Michon he was born on Dec 6, 1960 in Regina, Sask. to Albert and Marie Michon. He Died peacefully at home in Regina, Sask. on August 12, 2022

Ron loved cars he got his first car running when he was 12 years old, he was a heavy duty mechanic for many years he worked at Abramsons and then WF Botkin. He was also a vehicle safety inspector for SGI and was very proud of that opportunity and he did that for a long time. Ron was a hard worker never depending on anyone to do the job he can do and always taking great pride in the work he did. Ron’s passion was restoring cars and his beloved car was the cutlass convertible which he got to ride in before getting to sick. He also had a Bronco that he loved to drive. Ron was a jack of all trades which included carpentry he built a garage so he can work on his cars he spent hours and hours in the garage blasting his music. Ron was very friendly and kind to those who came to visit him always making sure they had a coffee, pop or water. He loved to laugh and have fun, he loved to tell stories and joked around a lot. He really enjoyed when the grandkids were around, he would watch cartoons with them or just visit with them listening to their stories and Reindeer was very dear to his heart coming into his life when she was 3 years old, he would say, “I never thought I would be getting bossed around by a little Indian Girl”. Ron will truly be missed and forever loved by his wife of 18 years Star, his stepsons Samuel and Damien, his children Robyn, Shawn and Kayla. His grandchildren Raina “Reindeer”, Loui, Koda, Nia, Ambrosia, Pakeus, Gracie, Noah, Roman, April, Isla, Avery, Aura and Henry. Ron is Survived by his two brothers Raymond and Jerry, his three sisters Sheila, Linda and Yvonne. He is predeceased by his parents (Albert and Marie)

Friends and Family are welcomed to share their stories on Wednesday at 7pm at Lees Funeral home on 3100 Dewdney Ave.
