Robert Anderson

It is with deep sadness that the Anderson family announces the passing of their father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Bob was born July 7, 1924 in Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan and was raised in Regina. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Esther in 2005. Bob was also predeceased by his parents, John and Ann (Marion); brother John (Jack); and sisters Adella and Thelma. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Betty (Rob) Dann, Michael (Stephanie), Dale (Michele), Tim, Terry (Diane), Jim (Laura), Gord (Anita), Doug (Gayla); nineteen grandchildren; twenty-five-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Cathedral, 3125 13th Avenue, Regina on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. John Weckend, celebrant and Rev. Danilo Rafael, concelebrant. Flowers greatly declined. Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of the DVA Long Term Care Ward at Wascana Rehabilitation for being dad’s friends and care givers for the past 3 years.
