It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Ricky Curtis Ponace-Keepness on October 21st, 2024. Ricky was born on July 24, 1996, in Regina, Saskatchewan. He is survived by his mother Amber Keepness, grandmother Laurie Keepness, sisters Ailaya, Danis, Kaizia, Jenaya & Zoey. Sadly also leaves behind his only son Ricky Keepness Jr and the mother of his child Tiarra Moore. Also his sufficient other Shakiya. He was predeceased by his father, Ricky Ponace as well as his grandfather Donald Rosebluff. He will be dearly missed by his son, nephew Kalijah, his mother, grandmother, numerous cousins, aunties, uncles, & friends.
Ricky was an amazing father, son, grandson, friend. His contagious laugh would instantly put a smile on your face.
He wouldn't hesitate to help out anyway he could. Family was everything to him. The love he had for his son Ricky Jr was paramount. Ricky would visit his son as often as he could, & it was like no time had passed. You could feel and see the love they had for each other.
A wake for Ricky will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Pasqua First Nation Band Hall, Pasqua First Nation, Saskatchewan. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM, Pasqua First Nation, Saskatchewan,, with graveside service to follow at Muscowpetung Cemetery, Muscowpetung First Nation, Saskatchewan.
