It is with heavy hearts the family of Richard Weber of Southey, SK announce his passing on Wednesday March 3, 2021. Richard was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Stefanie Weber; sister Anna (Gus Dommasch); and brother Felix Kifferling (Maria). He is survived by his sisters Jackie Weber (Herb) and Eva (Ted) Langford; brother Milton (Dale) Weber; as well as many nieces and nephews; and many grand-nieces and nephews. Richard enjoyed singing in the choir, playing cards, watching hockey, country life, and the farm was his passion. There is a saying, “You can take the boy out of the farm, but you can’t take the farm out of the boy.” Wherever Richard went, whether for groceries, mail, or a business trip to Regina, he was always in a hurry to get back home and take care of his farm. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and care-givers at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic. The commitment, caring, and kindness was wonderful. They always had smiles for him and enjoyed his wit. Thanks to the ladies who brought him his soup, cookies, and a ray of sunshine. Rest in Peace, Richie. We love you. An interment will be held at a later date.
