Richard Douglas Hames

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Dick Hames announce his unexpected passing on Friday, December 23, 2022. Dick was born in Estevan, SK on August 9, 1947 and grew up on the family farm in Oxbow, SK. He was the first born to Walter & Helen Hames. He married his soul mate Anna Bukatka in 1972. They lived a wonderful life together in Regina, SK. He has one daughter Joanna and one grandson Kingsley. He was a loving family man. Dick was predeceased by his father Walter, mother Helen and wife Anna. He is survived by his daughter Joanna; grandson Kingsley; sister Judy (Bob); niece Deanna; nephew Warren (Katherine); sister Nadine (Terry); niece Erin (Dustin); and niece Eranee (Paul). A funeral service for Dick will be held at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Ave. Regina, SK on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with an internment to follow at Regina Cemetery
