Lorraine Elizabeth Fensom

She was predeceased by her parents Steve and Irene Benko; as well as her beloved fur babies Gary and Mr. Kitty.

She is survived by her three children, Jared (Brandy) and their daughter Hanley, Justin (Jill) and their two children Emmie and Easton, and Becky and her daughter Amelia; along with her siblings Larry (Diane), Mary Ann (Jim), Fred (Norma), David (Debbie), Rose (Robert), and Danny; numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly; also her beloved dog Sasha and grand fur baby Kitty.

She grew up on her family farm north of Cupar, Saskatchewan and she attended Cupar School where she enjoyed playing softball and curling. Once she finished school she moved to Regina where she worked at Ackland’s for many years. She then moved back to Cupar where she worked at Wheatland Agencies, Viterra, and Cupar and District Nursing home as well sold Hail Insurance to farmers. In between tackling all her jobs, she devoted her life to raising her three children, always travelling to hockey, dance, swimming, baseball, and many other sports. Once her children were grown, she devoted her time and love to her four grandchildren. She enjoyed watching each of them grow and spent her time attending their sports and activities. In her spare time, she loved the many visitors that came to see her and especially with their little ones.

She was a hardworking, strong, selfless loving woman who touched so many lives in so many ways. Her personality was one of a kind but anyone who knew her, knew her heart was so big.

The Celebration of Lorraine’s Life will be held at Cupar Town Hall, 901 Assiniboia Avenue, Cupar, SK, on September 30th, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers and cards, donations can be made to the Regina Human Society, 79 Armour Road, RM of Sherwood, SK S4K 0A8

We would like to send a special thank you to The Regina Pasqua Hospital, The Allan Blair Cancer Centre and the many staff that took care of her along the way. Also a special thank you to The Cupar Ambulance team and Prairie Pharmacy for their time and care they have given to her.
