Larry Kuntz

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Larry George Roy Kuntz who passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, at the age of 66, following a battle with brain cancer. He leaves to cherish in memory his second wife Cheri; son Shane and daughter Dena; and much loved grandchildren Savannah, Annissah, Tiara, Aleah, Kaile, Trae, and Mariah; brothers Robert (Joanne), Harvey (Kelly), Jim (Bonny); and 6 sisters Diane, Myrna, Annette, Marilyn (Robert) Ferguson, Verla (Alan) Woronski, and Arlene (Peter) Lupanko. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Stephanie (Wickenheiser); and first wife Deborah (Lowe), mother of Shane and Dena. Larry was a devoted, kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, brother-in-law, friend, colleague and neighbor; always offering a helping hand and a friendly wave or smile. He took great pride in the 45 years he worked for Degelman Industries before retiring in March of 2020, where he made life-long friends and remembers fondly all the people he worked with and shared a laugh with.

We would like to thank the SHA Palliative Care Services team of nurses, care aides, and occupational therapists for taking the best care of Larry during the past few weeks. We are so grateful to all our family and friends who have given love and support to us and to each other during this emotional journey.
