It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved father, uncle, grand-father, and friend on December 15, 2023, at the Regina General Hospital.
Ken’s memories will live on through his son Mike (Crystal), grandchildren (Aurora, Tabby, Hailey), his brother Richard (Joanne), sister Jennifer (Don), brother Billy (Kendra), sister Donna (Larry), his sister-in-law Joan (Stewart), and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Brenda, brother Stewart, his mother Verna and father Al. As we mourn his loss, we take comfort knowing he is with them.
Ken was born in Ituna, SK in 1959, and then later moved to Regina with his family where he finished his education and retired earlier this year after 20 plus years working with the school board.
Ken will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature, his love of life, and his generous heart. He was incredibly loving and took huge pride in his family. He loved to fish, listen to music, and watch sports, recently becoming a superfan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Ken loved animals and was always spoiling his cats Schmuggles, Squeaky and Howard with all the love and attention he could give. If he wasn’t driving around in his Porsche, you could find him having coffee or lunches with his friends or family. Ken had a big heart and found joy in taking care of others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ken would love to be remembered with entertaining and funny stories about how he lived and the ways he touched the hearts and lives of the people he knew.
Please join us on December 22, 2023 to celebrate the life of Ken, at 2:00 p.m. at Victoria Ave Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Ave E, Regina, SK.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family.
