It is with great sadness the family of Karen Sacasecawin announces her passing on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. She was 46. She was predeceased by her father, Alfred Pelletier; nephew Tommy Lee; aunt Mary; uncles Isador Pelletier, Elmer Pelletier and Michael Pelletier. Karen is survived by her mother Alice Sacasecawin; daughters Nicole (DJ), Tina, and Victoria (Evan) Sacasecawin; and all their children; brothers Michael, Alfred and Douglas (Christina) Sacasecawin; sisters Joanne (Terry) and Linda Sacasecawin; aunt Barbara (Bill) Williams; uncle Tony (Fran) Pelletier; dearest nephews Christopher (Janessa) Sacasecawin, Douglas Sacasecawin Jr. and Michael “Amos” Gordon. Karen was a kind, wonderful and beautiful person. Even if your visit was short, you always left feeling refreshed from all the jokes and laughter shared. She could bring smiles and laughter to all those who knew and interacted with her. Donations to assist the family during this difficult time would be greatly appreciated.
