The family of John McGill is saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the age of 84. John was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer; parents James and Caroline McGill; sister Nan; brother James and numerous other family members. John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Sandra; sons John (Nadine) and James; grandchildren Parker, Skylar, Eryn, Kennedy and one great grandson Elliott; sister Caroline as well as many other family members and friends. John was a proud member of the RCMP before retiring in 1991. An interment will take place at the RCMP Cemetery Columbarium on Saturday July 6, 2019 at 2:00p.m. with a reception to follow in the Regina Officer’s Mess until 4:00 p.m. A special thank you to the staff at the Regina General Hospital unit 1D and Wascana Rehabilitation Center unit DAU for the care and compassion they showed John. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in John’s memory to your favorite charity.
