Greta L Gebhart

It is with great sadness that the family of Greta Levona Gebhart (Berg) announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Monday, June 6, 2022. Greta leaves behind her loving children: Darren (Marina), Pamela Bouchard (Serge), and Wanda Maier (Kevin), as well as her grandchildren: Rylan (Breeanna), Chanelle (Mike), Brittany (Terry), Robin (grandson in-law), Jillian (David), Ariel (Jonathon), Brett (Robyn), Jamie (Jamie) and Shaun (Kim). Great grandchildren: Marlee, Lainey, Emma, Austin, Nixon, Londyn, Céline, Margaux, Isabelle, Merrik, Emmett and Willow, as well as sisters-in-law Marlene Berg and Helen Lipinski. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many very special friends.

Greta was born to Emanuel and Edith Berg on October 19, 1939. She married Ernest Gebhart on October 10, 1959 where they farmed north of Cupar on the family homestead for over 50 years until moving into Cupar in 2009. Throughout the years she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Greta is predeceased by her husband Ernest, parents, granddaughters Raechelle and Gabrielle, sisters Evelyn (Manfred), Irene (Chester) and Thelma (Archie), and brothers Ronald and Edward.

The family wishes to send their thanks to the staff at the Regina General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. At Mom’s request, no funeral service will be held; a family graveside service to take place at a later date.
