Garry Ziebart

On Thursday, March 28th, 2024 Garry Michael Ziebart passed away suddenly, after a long battle with COPD at the age of 72. This family has lost a feisty and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Garry had friends from one end of the province to the other, but the only thing he loved more than his friends, was his family. Garry was always willing to help family and friends and welcomed many astray into his home. The only thing Garry enjoyed more than being a father was being a grandfather. He treated his girls like princesses.

Garry was a huge sports fan and avidly attended Roughrider games with his loving wife. Garry also loved the Blue Jays and watched their games religiously. The evening he passed away, he had just spent an enjoyable afternoon laughing with his beloved wife “Renee”, while watching the Jays win on opening day!

Garry is survived by his wife Renate; children Jeanine, Travis, Melissa and Mike; siblings Len, Marie, Allan, Anthony and Rosalie; and his grandchildren and honorary grandchildren Delayne, Adelaide, Jacey, Skylar, Jessica, and Avery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Elizabeth.
