With hearts full of sadness we announce the passing of Forbes McQueen on Thursday, October 25, 2018. Forbes passed the way he always wanted to - quietly and peacefully. Forbes was born in 1931 in Dominion #6 (Donkin) Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his parents Murray and Violet; sister-in-law Rose Buch; and eleven siblings. Survived by his wife Jean; daughter Tracy (Keith) Tuttosi; his grandson Zach, whose life and very being made him so proud; his niece, who was more like a second daughter to him; Kelly Strass and her husband Greg and their four children. He was their “Popa,” and they meant the world to him. Ashley (Dustin), Kristen (Travis), Amy (Logan), Jeremy (Kelsi) and nine extra special little ones who made him light up every time he saw them; Laila, Callie, Jacob, Hailey, Liv, Henry, Lenny, Liam and Louie; sisters Carol Hall and Deloris MacQueen; nephew David (Jodie) Buch; sister-in-law Cecile Roy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Forbes lived an active life in the sports world. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK at 10:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at the Highland Curling Club, 345 Broad Street.
