1944 – 2024
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother-in-law, Barry Forsyth at the Regina General Hospital on November 14, 2024.
Born to Edna and James Forsyth on January 18, 1944 in Carlyle Saskatchewan. He attended the Carlyle school and when old enough he delivered newspapers and did yard care for pocket money. He met his wife Maxene (nee Hill) while working in the Ogema area for the Department of Highways, they were married on June 27, 1970.
Barry is predeceased by his parents, sister Linda, brother-in-laws, Douglas Schottenbauer, Chico Lemieux, Logan Linden and Sheridan Hill.
Barry leaves to mourn his beloved wife Maxene of 54 years; son Linden; daughter Kelley Schinke and three grandchildren, Ryan, Lucas (Jess), Emma and two great grandchildren
A Celebration of life will be held on Friday November 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Deep South Pioneer Museum, 504 Government Road, Ogema, Saskatchewan.
