On June 27th, 2013 Ruby (Margie) Lee, went to live with the Angels. After many surgeries and a leg amputation, she went to live at the Hallmark Nursing Home. She enjoyed it very much, especially looking out the windows at all the pretty trees.
Margie was born at home in Redmond Washington on March 10, 1936. She attended Redmond High School and graduated in 1954. She married Jim Lee in 1954 as well.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, crafts, eating and baking.
She was also a member of the American Legion Post 84 for many years.
She is survived by her sisters, Rosa Long of Bothell, Washington, Bonnie Charbonneau of Mount Lake Terrace and Grace Price (Dan Short) or Seaside, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her sister Irene Bonner, who passed away January 12, 2013. She is also survived by her daughter Laurie Voorhees (Steve Abshire) of Payullup, Washington and her sons Terry Lee of Seattle, Washington and Ken Lee of Oroville, Washington. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She will be missed dearly by all.
Chapel Services have been scheduled on Saturday July 13, 2013 at 1:30pm at the Snoqualmie Valley Funeral Chapel, in North Bend, Washington. Services will then proceed to Redmond City Cemetery in Redmond, Washington and conclude with a reception at Cedar Lawns Funeral Home (which is across the street from the Redmond City Cemetery).
