A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY
Thank you for visiting this website that we created to honor and remember our mother, Iris Patricia Decker. Please feel free to light a candle, or post any memories of mom that you would like to share. Throughout the years, mom kept a book of her favorite poems. One particular poem in her book seems fitting today. It says, “Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star-light at night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep.” Rest peacefully, mom. We love and miss you, and you will forever be in our hearts.
