Donald Marczak, born August 16, 1929 to Stanley and Helen Marczak, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2019 in Snoqualmie, Washington at the age of 89. Married to Joyce Marczak on August 22, 1981 and celebrated their 38th year anniversary and enjoyed his retirement life in Lake Tahoe, California from teaching at Woodrow Wilson Junior High and Pioneer High School in San Jose, California.
Donald enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on September 23, 1946 and achieved the rank of Corporal and was awarded the WWII Victory Medal and Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal. He attended Highland Park High School and Michigan State University and earned a Masters Degree in Industrial Arts and Education.
Donald was a wonderful man who always had ‘the time’ in his hand as he collected all sorts of beautiful vintage, handmade, and traditional clocks. He is an avid chocolate addict of 85 years, an athlete of many sports and instrumental in Drivers Education and Drivers Training in California.
His love and memories will be forever treasured in the hearts and minds of his loving wife, Joyce Marczak. His children, Steven & (Deborah) Marczak, Mindy Marczak-Strout, Carol & (Jack) Moser and Michael Johnson (deceased)
Grandchildren, Corey, Rhiannon, Shane, Jacob, Madison, Payton, Kristen (Matt), Kaitlyn (Audrey), Alexander, Holland (Sean) and Cassandra.
Great-grandchildren, Riley, Damien, Deavon, Joseph, Charlotte, Hendrik and Lucy
Military Service is scheduled on March 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts.
