My memories of Shawn go way back to grade school.   I first knew Shawn on the basketball court,  he was a fierce competitor, a great athlete.   It was later when I got to know Shawn on a personal level  at middle school and  high school. I remember playing schoolyard style pick up baseball games with Shawn at Seaview Park with many other friends, including Brian Lee.     Shawn was a natural leader, someone you wanted to follow because he cared about people and had a way of getting people to gravitate towards him and he loved being with friends.     He had an infectious smile and positive energy and  you just wanted to be his friend.      Since his passing, it has given me a different outlook on this life we live, it reminded me to be kind to all, be present for friends and family and be vulnerable.    Shawn will be missed dearly and our prayers go out to all that knew Shawn, his family, friends and people that were lucky enough to be in Shawn’s inner circle.      He was a great man.

There is a song "Only the Good, Die Young", & well it Must be True. Papa wanted you back home with him. Wow how the time flies, 30+ years....
My thoughts & prayers are with your family as they grieve, and Celebrate your Life. Gone but Not Forgotten, see you again Soon.


I am so sadden to hear about Shawn's passing. We went to middle school together in Edmonds. We had tons of classes together and alway sat next to each other. He was a great person. He was always a loving , kind and caring person. He will be missed. I send condolences to his family and friends. 

God bless your family as you are now in Heaven. I have fun youth group memories of you my sweet cousin.  You are now whole, I pray for those left here that are still broken .. God bring us peace. Until we meet again, sing in that Heavenly choir for me!
