Mary Lou was born on Dec 3, 1929, in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Henry Hunt Gregor and Mary Jane (Allsopp) Gregor, the eleventh of twelve children. After graduating high school, Mary Lou went west and settled in Los Angeles, CA where she found a job as telephone operator. While there, Mary Lou met a handsome sailor, Eugene Morris of Howard, Kansas, and in 1951 they married and settled in the San Gabriel Valley area. There they raised their five children, John, Ken, Mary Alice, Larry, and Linda. After Gene’s retirement in 1984, they relocated to Redding, CA.
Mary Lou was a big-hearted, caring person who loved her family, Bingo, the Dodgers, Elvis, camping, crafts, and casinos. If someone was in need, she found a way to help. The door to her home was always open as she enjoyed the comfort created by having people around her.
