Born in Lookout CA, raised in Cottonwood on a Cattle Ranch until married. Raising her own family in Redding own their Farm/Ranch until passing.
Secretary to President of Lumber Mill Anderson of many years then re-treated to Domestic Engineer. Later owned/ operated Riverside Commercial Laundry for years until retiring to care for elderly parents. Her love for children they became Foster Parents, receiving home for many years. Always having an open door for families, friends, and people in need. No one left their home empty handed (food, clothing, toys, candy, fruit and vegetables from the garden). Their generosity was never ending.
Graduated from Anderson High School with top honors and Shasta College Economics (Psychology, amazing and talented pianist, seamstress, quilter, knitted, crocheted, artist of all crafts, avid reader, and Sunday school teacher). Loved playing cards, games, always adventurous and having fun with grandchildren.
Mom held her own with three brothers Willard (Laretta), Charlie (Leigh), and Alvin. Jokes prevailing and debating. She loved animals and nursed them back to health. She took many Ferrell cats and tamed them.
So proud of her three children: Tony (Elizabeth), Gail Martin (Larry), and Joann Mazorra (Dennis), 11 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and one on the way! Singing songs, reciting poems/ stories, playing games and kept everyone entertained. She loved to preach Jesus Gospel to anyone anywhere.
