It is with great sadness that the daughters of Samuel Jack Guido, II announce his passing after a courageous battle with PSP, on December 26, 2018, at the age of 72. Sam is the son of the late Santo Salvatore Guido, and the late Mildred A. (Bewley) Guido.
Sam will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tina Guido Kelsey (David) of Bluffton, SC; Lisa Vizza (Ralph) of Elverson, PA; Lori Shoumlisky (Joe) of Wernersville, PA; and his grandchildren Alexis & Sammy Shoumlisky. He will be fondly remembered by his loving family and friends, as well. Sam was predeceased by his brother, Alvin Guido.
Sam was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider who spent most of his life in Reading, PA, until he retired to Myrtle Beach, SC in 2002. Since November 2017, Sam lived in Bluffton, SC.
A Wake will be held on Friday, January 11th 5 - 8 PM, and a Funeral Service in memory of Sam will be held on Saturday, January 12th. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 AM, and the service will begin at 11 AM, at Auman’s Funeral Home, 390 West Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at the family plot at Forest Hills Cemetery.
