Frank was a lifelong resident of Reading, PA, the son of the late Antonio and Santa Todaro.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patricia P. Todaro; sisters, Pauline, wife of Eugene Opiloski, and Estelle Todaro. Also surviving are his stepchildren: Michael Keller of Sinking Spring, Thomas Keller, husband of Julie, Mohnton, and Matt Keller, husband of Sandra, Mt. Penn; nieces, Susan Macey of Denver, Colorado; Anne Strause of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and nephews, Tom, David and Jim Todaro of Ohio; stepgrandchildren, Robert, Jessica, Christopher and Brittany; and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Leah, along with many great-grandnieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his brother, Thomas Todaro of Ohio.
Frank was retired from Lucent Technologies after 31 years and was an active lodge member of Victor Emmanuel Society II and East Ends AC Club. He was a parishioner of St. Catharine of Siena Church, and was a former member of Holy Rosary. He also served in the U.S. Navy.
Frank loved his family and loved life. Despite his health challenges, Frank continued to enjoy watching the Phillies, Eagles and Penn State. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He loved listening to Frank Sinatra music and playing with his great-grand-children. Frank was a true friend and a gentleman and his love and support will be greatly missed by his family and myriad of friends, but Frank will always remain close at heart and in thought.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catharine's of Siena RCC, 4975 Boyertown Pike. A viewing will be Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 6– 9 p.m. in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family. www.aumansinc.com.
