He was the husband of the late Erna E. (Ehrgood) Santiago who passed away in 2006.
Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico he was the last surviving son of Federico and Cecilia (Rodriguez) Santiago.
He was employed by General Battery Corp. now Excide Battery for over 40 years working in production until his retirement in 1989.
Fernando enjoyed going to the Movies, doing search word puzzles and gardening.
SURVIVORS: Son Fred C. husband of Donnamaria Santiago of Shillington. Daughter Melinda S. Santiago Fiancée of Larry E. Oberc of Laureldale. Sister in law Anna May wife of the late Raphael Santiago of Reading. Grandchildren Lisa, Maria, James and 7 Great grandchildren.
SERVICES: Will be held at the Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, Reading. Sunday at 1:30 PM. Friends may call Saturday from 7 to 9 PM and Sunday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park Tuesday at 9:0 AM.
