Bruce was more than a friend, he was a brother to me, not just the type of brother you can hang out with, but the brother you can tell ANYTHING to, and the brother that you trust with everything. And loosing that kind of bond with someone you practically knew since we was in 3rd grade, it broke me into a million pieces and I wish everyday that this is a dream, and seeing him in a casket was the most pain I ever felt in my life and I don't wish death on nobody! Hope Bruce is having a better life up there in heaven and he can look down on me and see that I'm hanging on just for him and everything I'll do will be just for him! I'll become a surgeon just like you told me to be. I love you and I always will until I'm 6ft down with you!

To the the Families of this young Man. Carry each other's burdens.  Because of your faith your are not alone. These emotions are shared with all of us.  He was my child it's only human for us to hurt.  Phyllis you are a Sister to me and we go way back and your children like my own.  My prayer to God is to open our eyes today to see those around us who are suffering so we can ease their burdens. Amen

To the family ours prayers and thought are with you at this time. We ask God to strength you each day. Sometimes just close your eyes and think of a moment in time with you and Bruce and that smile comes upon your face and you know the memories shall last forever . Hold onto to God's unchanging hands

It's been many years since I have spoken to Diane or her children but I am saddened to hear about the loss of Bruce Jr., truly.  I hope the family's spirit and love for each other, as I recall it to be, will comfort each other.

I was heartbroken to hear about Bruce's passing. He was a good kid, he was smart, kind, and respectful. He was loyal to his friends, and loved his family. I feel lucky that I got to be one of his teachers.
