I will miss you. I enjoyed our time up in Canada- fishing, boating & having fun. That was the first time that I seen a Moose & Eagles were  everywhere. You always put family first, hardworking & great sense of humor. All of your great attributes you gave to your son & they shine brightly through him everyday. Rest in peace & dance “Wipeout” in Heaven for us. I love you.

Grandpa, you was a silly man for sure, you knew your stuff though. I will forever hold the car we both cussed and hated for the time it took to tear apart. But when we got it running, it was well worth the time and money it took to get it going. You where something and somebody else. Someone I will never forget and will always think about. Always a special place for you. In everyone’s heart. I love you man. Stay outve trouble 

This still doesn’t feel real. Our grandpa was the best, there was no ifs ands or buts about it. No one could ever bring his day down.  He was one of the greatest men alive.  I will forever miss the times I went to Canada with him and grandma, playing cards, fishing, cleaning his garage out ever summer,  fighting over noodles every thanksgiving. I’m glad my babies got to spend time with him, pillow fighting with Lilah, too just walking around their yard with Zia. We will forever be great full for grandpa. 

Thought I’d share a found memory I have where I had to be around 8 years old or so.  All of us cousins and Uncle Bill were up in Grandpa’s garden removing rocks so it could be rototilled also while making some candy money.  My younger sister Lorie, being the smallest, was doing some sort of wonder woman twirl to help propel her throw.  One of those rocks found my head and knocked me down.  After getting up Bill asked me if I was ok.  Somewhat embarrassed I replied yes and went back to my rock throwing thinking about all the money I’ll have for candy.    He looked at me and said no you’re not while letting me know I was bleeding from my ear.  He ran and swooped me up n his arms (just like an officer and a gentleman hah) and ran me down to Grandpa’s house.  There he pulled out the metal barrette which the rock embedded in my head, cleaned me up and put on some bandages.  All while telling me I would be ok and I wouldn’t get in trouble from my Mom for my clothes getting dirty and bloody after voicing that concern.   A true Hero, my Hero!  Every time I look at the scar on my forehead it reminds me of this story, and I smile.
To all the good times and even the not so good ones haha , thank you for being yourself.  Helping others and making everyone smile.  Love you Uncle.  



You may be gone but you’ll never be forgotten! Best brother ever! 

My grandpa was always the happiest guy around.  I am so thankful to have had you in my life. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face. I hope your fishing and playing the chicken game up there. I love and miss you forever grandpa. 

Loyal, trustworthy, honest, helpful, kind, just a few words to describe Bill. Family was important to him. Will not be able to sit on the veranda at Round up lake without thinking of him and remembering how he worked on the weekends and the fires he made. Generous, another word for him, there are many more words, people who knew him, know them. Will miss our time and talks on the veranda. May God be with you. Rest in peace.

He was the best dad and grandpa  anyone could ever have. He liked playing football  volleyball , baseball, and swimming with us.  He went skating with us, tried to teach us to water ski that was a trip lol. He never left  us no matter what and he continued all the fun with his grandkids.  Everyone knows I am a daddy's girl and always will be . I will miss you so very dearly  everything I see a eagle in canada or net a fish  I'll constantly  think of you.  No I'm still not gonna touch worms .  Love you daddy!!

Tempting those scaled devils with our bait. Sometimes successful sometimes not. It was time I will cherish and not forget. When fish were cleaned and supper done hours of playing cards against our wives at the cabin in Canada, usually getting beat by them. See you on the other side my friend. Ed

AND we did beat them many times playing cards because Bill would pick up all the cards and make us mad- THEY CHEATED! What fun we had fishing card playing and drinking wine or whatever!! The best part was Bill knowing me from high school and thinking I was too “prissy” to fish. Well, guess what I loved fishing and having fun with the Pauley family!! I will miss our Canada weeks. We will see you again sometime. We will fish together in Canada. Donna and I will beat you at cards and drink you under the table! Bonnie

Vern and I with deepest sympathy for the loss of your father.  No words can ease your loss.  He raised a good, loving son and I thank him for that.  Rest In Peace…..  Bonnie and Vern.

Bill was a wonder husband and father and grandpa and great grandpa and will be missed by all we will miss his laughter his sense of humor He was my best friend and the love of my life I felt his love everyday and am going to miss him every day till I am with him again   but have alot of good memories over our 55 years together love him so much and miss him

Wondeful, kind, sympathetic, and funny.  What a guy!  We spent so much time togethet, especially in Canada.  He learned slot about fishing from my dad,, and even after 50+ years, he didn't t like to stray from the way my dad taught him.  He even let me win fish money every now and then.Bill and Anna had some kind of secret bond.  She knew he hung the moon. I m sure Anna is already showing her Uncle Bill off to everyone in heaven.  He really appreciated my cooking,  and would tell me. "Good job".  But he loved my pumpkin roll for his birthday and Thanksgiving.  And maybe my carrot cake (with no nuts,just for him) at Easter.  I will surely miss him. Time for those happy feet to dance in heaven.

Bill was my lifelong hero! I probably was a pain in his butt. He was always there for me growing up. Which consisted of, always starting my car, or running in a ditch, rescuing me when I would run my father's tractor up a tree and opening up his home to me when I needed a place to live. He did all without a lecture, and always with a smile. He was unbelievable with his love and patience. I could never had asked for a better brother-in-law. "I love you, Bill." You will ALWAYS be in my heart! 

Bill was one of the good ones so he was chosen first to go to heaven. He always had a smile on his face. And was always happy. He loved to be around children as you could tell from the pictures. 

I have fond memories of Ted and I going dancing with Bill and Donna; Bill was always dancing his heart out. He loved to dance to “Wipe Out” that was his song.

No one can replace him as he is one of a kind.
Always willing to help out no matter who you were. Never held a grudge. A very good person. And a happy person.

We will all miss you Bill but we know you are in a better place with no pain and no worries, Have fun and relax. We all love you!

Bill was such a warm and caring man and will be missed at Roundup Lake Campsite very much! Our prayers and sympathy  go out to the family of such a sweet soul. 

Prayers to your family Bill. Our Roundup family won’t be the same without you! Thank you for always chatting, for being tough on the kids but laughing at the same time, and for always sharing the best camper drama! You will be missed!!

I will always remember your smile and your dancing 🕺. For 52 years you have been in my life.  I have many memories as a child. We were constantly at each other’s house or grandpa’s.  Holidays and family functions will not be the same.  Love you, and until we meet again you’re always in my heart and thoughts! 

Hi Uncle Bill Really Going To Miss You Love You Bunches 

I've known Bill my whole life. He was my dad's best friend. The names Bill and Donna were a constant in my life growing up. They and my parents did so many things together. A lot of the times us kids stayed home while they were out doing who knows what LOL but I knew that it was going to be a fun time hanging out with Billy and Chris with no parents. What I can say about Bill is that he was always so kind.  I truly felt like part of the family. He was happy-go-lucky, easy to make giggle and his grin was so big his eyes would disappear. I'll never forget that mischievous grin. He bent over backwards to help people.  Whenever my parents needed help with their house, Bill ALWAYS came right away and the only thing he asked in return was that they had coffee for him. He was such a great handyman! And even when he wasn't feeling well, you can tell from the shared pictures, he was still out there working on projects. He was the epitome of a great dad, grandfather, hard worker and best friend to my dad. I hope that they are dancing to Wipeout in heaven right now. I love you Bill. I will miss you.

We didn’t see Bill a lot growing up. They lived away from here but I always enjoyed seeing him when he came down. As we all got older Bill and Donna came down some to see Dad and Mom.  He was Dads nephew.  I always tried to see them when they were there.  Someone would call me if I weren’t there.  I remember one time he came and my sister was making mints for a shower or something. He had to tease her.  But she gave him a few.  If they knew he and Donna were coming there would be something fixed  for them to eat
And he liked a chocolate cake  my sister made. She’d try to have it for him. But if she didn’t. He’d get after her. LOL. Teasing her.  He liked to do that I think.   He will be missed 
Donna I wish for you and the family to find comfort in God at this difficult time.  Lean on him that is what he wants you to do Love you all

No matter how many days  pass it still doesn't seem real. I'm  going to miss so many things I took for granted trips to Canada, sitting  with you and grandma on the porch, fighting  over Barbara's pumpkin  roll, Playing cards. You are the best Grandfather anyone  could ever ask for I miss you and love you and wish I would of said  it more while you was here. 

This was Bills birthday celebration at the campground this summer. He was so happy to have all his friends and family there. We are all going to miss you Bill! 

I was saddened to hear of Billy's passing.  Although we didn't see one another often, our visits were memorable.  I pray the Lord gives you comfort and peace during this difficult time.  Love you all!
