Tyler was born in Akron, Ohio to parents Brian and Karen Neal on February 5, 1991. He attended Waterloo Schools with the class of 2009 and Maplewood Vocational School in the electrician program. He was an electrician by trade, recently working for JC Electric in Garrettsville.
Tyler fought hard but lost his battle with addiction, but addiction didn’t define him, he was so much more. Tyler was so talented. He loved fishing & hunting, 4 wheeling and riding with his sons. He loved cooking on the grill and shooting off rockets with Jaxsen. Tyler was a great father, teaching his boys every step of the way. He spent time teaching them to cook, fish, ride 4-wheelers and swim.
He enjoyed working on cars and dirt bikes, tinkering in the garage with his dad. Tyler had so much compassion for others and enthusiasm for life. He was a great friend and was there for anyone who needed him. His favorite beverage was buttermilk.
Tyler is survived by his parents Karen (Jeff) Lemley and Brian (Dawn) Neal. He will be forever cherished by his son Jaxsen Neal and stepsons: Rio & Zyrie. Tyler also leaves his brother Adam (Christen) Neal, stepbrother Jesse Laughlin, stepsister Jaime (Tony) Martello, “best friend” Amanda Hickman and nephews Logan & Simon Neal and Easton & Cason Laughlin.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Fred & Lois Neal and Louis & Evelyn Stewart.
Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4pm until the funeral service, officiated by Preacher Keith Welch, beginning at 5pm.
