Robert Lee Tyson

He was born December 14, 1941, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Robert V. and Imogene (Smith) Tyson. Bob proudly served in the US Navy. He retired from St. Lawrence Steel in Aurora. He enjoyed bowling, and spending time in Canada with his brother at his cottage in Parry Sound, Ontario.

Bob is survived by his children: Jeffrey E. Tyson and devoted daughter Kelly Tyson, his grandson Robert Garvin, as well as his extended family Jay Wass and daughter Emily Wass. Bob is also survived by his brothers: William (Cheryl) Tyson, Dennis (Kathy) Tyson, his sister Cindy (Tom) Carapella, along with 4 nieces and 5 nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sue Ann Tyson.

Friends will be received Thursday, October 22, 2015, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg with full military honors.
