Richard L. Moore, 84, of Randolph, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
Richard was born on February 16, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio. After high school he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. and served as a military policeman. Richard enjoyed a long career as a mechanic working on heavy equipment retiring in 1995 from Lenco in Stow. He was a long-time member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. After retirement, Richard liked to work on small engines and enjoyed fishing and tending his vegetable and flower gardens.
Richard is survived by his daughter Janet L. (Larry) Stewart of Sardis, Ohio, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He also leaves his brother and sister-in-laws Howard and Marti Vandergrift of Ocala, Fla. and dear friends and neighbors Don Stanley and Mary Gay.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes there will be no services and private burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
