Rebecca Marie Hanna

Rebecca was born in Sistersville, W.Va. on May 4, 1949 to Marion Paul and Helen Marie Gray. She was a graduate of Ravenna High School and Kent State University School of Nursing, graduating in 1982. Rebecca went on to enjoy a 26 year nursing career at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Rebecca was active and involved with the Girl Scouts for 35 years and a member of the Ravenna Church of Christ. Her hobbies included watching the Indians and the Browns and she really enjoyed acquiring collectable frog figurines. Most important to her was her family and her grandchildren.

Rebecca is survived by her husband Robert, whom she married July 1, 1967. She is also survived by her children: Tammi Lowe and Robert P. (Cassy) Hanna and her loving grandchildren: Edward (Pam) Lowe, Brittney Hanna and Brant Hanna. She leaves her brothers: Wes Gray and Lewis (Julie) Gray and her nieces and nephews: Nathan and Nicole Gray, Macie Gray, Paul, Paula, Jen, Carrie and Edwin Hanna and Marlena Morrow.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Greg Gray.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00am with Minister Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
